SDXI

Classroom Pilot Project

SDXI and Encyclopedia Britannica have engaged Quarasan! to develop lesson plans and a teacher's guide for the SDX-enabled EB Science Library. These materials, along with Animals from the library and SD-X reader pens, will be used by students and teachers in selected classroom science centers early next year. Feedback from this pilot test will guide the development of a classroom version of the Science Library.

Quarasan! is a full service conceptual developer of content for publishers of educational materials and products. Like EB and SDXI, Quarasan! is Chicago based, making possible a close collaboration between the partners. Having recently developed Science Pathways, a web-based science program, for Encyclopedia Britannica, SDXI management feels that Quarasan! is ideally positioned to help them introduce SD-X technology into classrooms.
